Rio Bravo 2: Reviews & Ratings
Such a fun time hanging out with great food and great service after visiting the Mothman museum! Our servers were amazing, food was great and prepared quickly!
Whenever we’re traveling, we have to find a local Mexican spot. Rio Bravo was a great choice! The salsa is a really good, but really unusual blend. Maybe some basil in it? Definitely a must try. My husband had the burrito Sinaloa and I had the power bowl with shrimp. Both were absolutely amazing and we definitely recommend.
I'm visiting from out of town and when I googled places to eat near me this was the first place that popped up. Also, people at the mothman museum said it was absolutely delicious so I went and tried it for dinner and was not disappointed! I left everything about my experience, especially the service. Everybody was super friendly and the food was amazing!
+ Restaurant was very nice and colourful. Food was tasty and portions were big. Great bloody mary and Victoria beer recommended by the waiter. Customer service was good. - Menu was too big, difficult to choose because of so many portions, menu could be simplified and still have variety. Music was a little too loud. We ordered a small cheese dip, instead got a big and was charged for big price. Maybe he didn't hear us because of the loud music? Other than that ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve been here twice, once when I was 15 for the mothman festival. It was packed, but we still got to eat in a timely manner, and there was no event-upcharge for food. I just went today, no festival, and it was the same. Same quick service, polite staff, and great food for a great price. I can’t afford the 20 dollar meals where I live, so this was a good treat for half the price.
Your visit to Point Pleasant to visit the Mothman Museum is incomplete without a stop to fill up on some local Mexican cuisine here. Customer service was amazing from the moment we walked in the door, food was prepared and delivered quickly, and the everything we tried was delicious. While I thought the Mothman burrito was kind of silly, my wife ordered that and it was delicious! I had the fajitas, which were also great, but I kept stealing bites of her burrito. Margaritas were great too! If we're ever passing back through I'll have to try the Mothman margarita.
The service was great! Came down for the mothman festival. Went into this adorable place because they have a sign in there window for a mothman burrito and I have to say it was pretty good. Then they had a moth man chimichanga which was even better! Banana, hazelnut spread topped with cinnamon/ sugar and syrup and the eyes and mouth was persimmons!
Although “busier than usual” on google maps, it was almost empty when we arrived at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. Older but fun decor. Waitstaff were friendly and spoke Spanish with me. My huge margarita came out suspiciously fast. Food was delicious and the mothman burrito was a hit with my 14 year old. Inexplicably the kitchen cranked the music way up and started singing half way through our meal which made it twice the fun. Highly recommend if you’re in Point Pleasant for the Mothman.
